Translucent skin, visible aether veins, a pulse that answers the ambient resonance of whatever room they're standing in. They feel resonance the way other races feel temperature — without thinking about it.
The Ironclad Dominion calls them vein-tainted. The Starwrought Enclave calls them research. The Verdis Covenant calls them proof. The Aetherborn call themselves whatever they choose.
Fractal Veins
Branching aether-circuit patterns beneath translucent skin — fractal, unique to each individual like a fingerprint, and luminescent at all times. Two Aetherborn have never been recorded with identical patterns.
