Weaver

"The Weaver had been in the vault for six minutes before the Ironclad squad arrived. By the time they realized the turrets were firing, they had already lost."

— Incident report, Duskcrag Concord Vault Authority, sealed

Weavers don't fight the battlefield. They build it.

Turrets, mines, dampeners, relays — all of it running off a Deployment Gauge that's always smaller than what you want to build. Every new device means giving up an existing one. Fill the field with turrets and you have no traps; cover it in mines and you have nothing shooting.

The Weaver's power compounds across an encounter as systems start interacting, which makes them weakest in the first round and terrifying in the fifth. You're also the only person at the table who can look at a Relic and name the house that made it, count its calibrations, and see where a holder's mark was ground off.

The Vault Authority's report on the Duskcrag incident runs eleven pages. Nine of them are the equipment inventory.

Forge Build

A weapons platform. Turrets that hit harder, survive longer, and fire in concert with your own attacks. The answer to fortified positions and long engagements.

Etch Build

Territory control. Traps, relays, and denial systems that turn a location into a killing field before anyone arrives. Most dangerous with time to prepare — and they always make time.
